About the Role
Our Risk and Investigations team conducts research and investigations to uncover actionable intelligence and performs value-added analysis to help decision-makers address and mitigate risk, protect assets, and make informed investment decisions to maximize opportunities. Our experts conduct independent investigations to help clients resolve a variety of issues, including:
Fraud investigations
Anti-bribery and foreign corruption (FCPA / UK Bribery Act) investigations and risk assessments
Whistleblower allegations
Litigation and compliance support
Due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and cross-border transactions
Business intelligence
Assets searches
Vendor screening & assessment programmes
Intellectual property theft and brand protection
Political risk assessments
As a Senior Director in the forensic accounting sector, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, executing, and finalizing engagements, with full accountability for the day-to-day activities of your team and subordinates. You are expected to manage projects and matters from start to finish, ensuring quality and timeliness at every stage.
For Senior Directors, building and maintaining strong client relationships is critical. You will take ownership of client matters, demonstrating leadership, initiative, and the ability to resolve issues proactively. You will be accountable to establish and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with clients through professionalism, responsiveness, and high-quality deliverables.
What You’ll Do
Apply advanced accounting knowledge and logical reasoning to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
Ensure high-quality outputs and meet established deadlines.
Prepare draft expert reports, presentations, and deliverables that clearly present findings within the agreed scope of work.
Engage directly with clients, lawyers, and senior accounting professionals.
Maintain and project a professional image both within the firm and externally.
Track case progress and monitor workflow across multiple matters.
Coordinate, review, and ensure timely completion of engagements; supervise, coach, and train junior staff.
Contribute to the growth of the Forensic Accounting practice through active involvement in development initiatives.
Manage project scope, timelines, tasks, resources, and cost estimates.
Undertake networking and business development activities to expand professional relationships.

Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related disciplines.
Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification.
Certified Fraud Examiner qualification advantageous.
Minimum 10 years of professional expertise in forensics, financial investigations, litigation support, disputes, compliance or expert witness services.
Exceptional verbal and written English skills, with proven ability to draft expert reports.
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data.
Excellent knowledge of litigation, investigation, compliance, and fraud issues.
Excellent knowledge of legal processes, including court codes of conduct, privilege, discovery, and evidence rules.
- Skilled in preparing complex reports for court proceedings or corporate disputes involving expert witness testimony and fraud cases.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams and projects.
- Self-starter, capable of thriving in fast-paced, multi-tasking environments.
- Independent worker with minimal supervision required.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and high level of professionalism.
- Able to travel to client and FTI regional offices as required
- Able to attend regional/global meetings outside standard working hours.
