About The Role
FTI’s Healthcare practice is seeking a seasoned professional with prior management and hands-on experience in the effective delivery of operational and financial process improvement in the healthcare provider sector. As a Senior Director, you will leverage your consulting background and/or industry expertise to manage the daily activities of high-performing, interdisciplinary teams to develop dynamic analytical, financial and operational solutions for our clients. You will manage projects and be accountable for project scope as well as coordinating multiple work streams to deliver a successful, timely outcome for our clients. You will interact and work primarily with senior management and teams, assessing, analyzing and leveraging operational and financial data to solve complex business issues for our clients.
What You’ll Do
Manage the day-to-day activities of projects including interaction with client C-suites and FTI team members
Communicate a high level of understanding of healthcare operations benchmarks and strategies
Interact with the Senior Managing Directors and Managing Directors in identifying the project goals, providing guidance to a project team, and preparing deliverables
Apply qualitative and quantitative skills to various engagements. Integrate information from a variety of sources to arrive at optimal solutions
Articulate our findings to counsel/client and to assist in strategic planning of ongoing engagements
Maintain detailed work paper records of assumptions, methodologies, and information sources employed during the performance of all analytical tasks
Work with relational database programs (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Access, etc.), FTI tools and templates to assess and quantify the areas of analytic focus within the healthcare industry
Deliver a quality work product within an established timeframe and assist in the management of project budgets
Ensure quality control/assurance methods have been applied to all work product
Manage/coach Consultants and Senior Consultants and provide guidance to help grow the future of the company
Assist with internal practice development activities as directed

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in one or more business/quantitative fields (i.e., finance, accounting, economics, management, information systems, etc.)
8+ years of relevant post graduate professional experience in the healthcare industry preferably in operations leadership position
Experience working in professional services consulting (e.g., litigation and/or disputes consulting, operational and/or compliance consulting) or relevant health care operations management
Project management experience
Analytics experience
Ability to travel to client sites and FTI offices as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management Certification (PMP)
