About the Role

The Senior Generalist, Human Resources will be an integral member of the Strategy Communications Americas team.  In this role, you’ll go beyond execution—bringing fresh ideas, analyzing trends, and helping shape the employee experience across performance, talent development, compensation, engagement, and more. You’ll have direct access to business leaders and HR Business Partners, acting as a critical connector between people, processes, and priorities. This opportunity is ideal for a senior-level generalist looking to broaden their strategic impact in a high-visibility environment.

 

What You’ll Do

Performance, Development & Culture

  • Assist with the performance review cycle and related communications, providing guidance and support to managers and employees throughout the process
  • Work closely with HRBPs to draft HR content, training materials, and tools that support evolving business needs and enhance the employee experience
  • Create practical resources that help managers and employees navigate HR processes with clarity and confidence
  • Serve as a trusted resource to managers and employees for coaching, team dynamics, morale-building, and performance conversations
  • Support employee relations activities including PIPs, investigations, and terminations in collaboration with HRBPs
  • Update, maintain, and manage segment new hire orientation as well as onboarding and offboarding processes and documents

Compensation, Analytics & Workforce Planning

  • Support annual compensation reviews, equity analyses, and level alignment
  • Collaborate with Compensation, Payroll, and Finance to ensure timely, accurate changes and reporting
  • Analyze HR metrics and employee feedback to uncover trends, recommend program enhancements, and guide business decisions

Strategic Projects & Policy Guidance

  • Integrate HR priorities with business objectives by leading or supporting segment-level initiatives and strategic projects
  • Manage employee pulse surveys and assist with developing action plans based on results
  • Takes initiative to assess current practices and recommend enhancements that drive efficiency, engagement, or alignment with business goals
  • Stay up to date on HR policies and employment law, providing guidance to leaders and staff that balances compliance with business needs
  • Serve as segment HR Point of Contact for leave of absence cases (parental, personal, medical); liaise with FTI Benefits
  • Perform other duties as needed

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a professional services, consulting, or fast-paced corporate environment
  • Experience supporting performance management, employee relations, and talent development
  • Analytical thinker with comfort working in Microsoft Excel and interpreting HR data
  • Workday experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to influence across levels
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovative HR solutions.
  • Sound judgment, high discretion, and a team-oriented, solutions-focused approach
