About The Role
The Global Core HR Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing delivery of the daily operational needs of FTIs Core HR team to best support needs of the global workforce. This role will report into the Director of HR Services and have a matrixed reporting line into the EMEA HR VP. The Senior Manager will oversee approximately 8-12 members across the EMEA and 2-3 in North America and 1 in Asia region consisting of Advisor & Sr Advisor level staff. The Senior Manager will also be part of a new team at FTI focused on Workday Governance & Process Excellence. This new team will work globally as a consultative partner to the COE and HR teams to look for opportunities to optimize our many HR processes in Workday and beyond.
The successful candidate will be responsible for harmonising, overseeing and suggesting improvements to the HR operational workflows, particularly in Workday, in addition to leading projects with significant focus on change management and task delegation. The role will also provide coaching, talent development and thought leadership to a team of HR Advisor & Senior Advisor level professionals, ensuring performance is aligned to set service level agreements (SLAs) and standards.
What You Will Do
Oversee the documentation, review, and maintenance of all HR processes, procedures, and policies in the Global HR Knowledge Base for 34 countries across the globe.
Ensure regional processes are aligned with Global HR core processes.
Optimize our Workday strategy across the various HR processes to deliver the best outcome for our employees, HR teams and Mangers.
Build guardrails into our Workday processes and approvals to ensure that we are following our evolving Governance North Star globally and identify areas for improvement and consistency.
Proactively identify opportunities for the continued development and improvement of the HR function in EMEA and the pilot Core HR team in North America.
Identify automation and Workday improvement opportunities wherever possible in lock step partnership with the People Operations & Systems team.
Lead ad hoc projects to ensure timely and accurate completion. Delegate projects whenever possible to team members to provide development and stretch opportunities.
Develop and execute change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives.
Partner with other Core Ops departments (ex. Payroll, IT, etc.) and HR Centres of Excellence to drive process improvement particularly in Workday.
Develop guardrails and approaches to ensure Workday processes, approvals follow protocols and are strategically aligned with the business’s strategy.
Manage local HR vendor relationships and spend.
Oversee development and training of HR Advisors employees across multiple countries in the EMEA, North America and Asia regions (ex. UK, France, Germany, US, etc.).
Collaborate regularly with HR business partners to ensure Advisory Support model is working smoothly.
Develop agreed goals and performance targets for all direct reports.
Drive the performance of the team by continually reviewing individual and team performance levels, ensuring all team members receive honest and regular feedback.
Minimal travel may be required to other offices within the EMEA region/United States.

Basic Qualifications (or equivalent):
Bachelor’s degree educated (or equivalent experience) with CIPD qualification
6+ years’ experience of working in a HR operations team (including at a leader level) within a global organisation, including project management, process improvement and people management
Strong understanding of HR operations and the processes relating to them, including but not limited to: Leave Management, Compensation Process, Employee Relations, Employee Data Maintenance, Offboarding/Onboarding Support, Performance Management, Talent Development.
Workday experience is required
Preferred Qualifications (or equivalent):
Professional services experience is desirable.
Experience with the following platforms would be beneficial but not essential: ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors.
Additional languages would be advantageous.
