About the Role
As a key member of the finance team, the Senior Manager of Finance Transformation will develop and execute strategies to help optimize accounting operational processes, primarily in revenue recognition, global projects, and business combinations aimed to reduce complexities and create efficiencies. This position will engage with Segment and Regional Finance leaders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions targeted to automate, standardize and streamline processes across regions and segments.
What You’ll Do
Support the finance-wide initiative to optimize our new ERP, primarily regarding revenue and receivables, general ledger close, intercompany and financial reporting
Develop initiatives to standardize accounting processes in revenue, general ledger, and financial reporting across the global firm
Supervise development, testing, and maintenance of automated accelerators in various accounting functions, including intercompany, consolidations, and transactions with off-ERP financial systems
Supervise data mining and analysis to create global monthly financial reporting in revenue
Develop continuous training to key finance and accounting stakeholders
Develop and maintain appropriate standards of internal control to ensure the accuracy and quality of revenues to support SOX compliance efforts
Identify and implement operational processes and internal control improvements as part of continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with integration of FTI legal entities onto the new ERP platform
Assist with business acquisition integrations, as needed
Assist with the intercompany reconciliation process to ensure proper elimination and researching and resolving data discrepancies
What You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems from an accredited university in the United States
CPA required or equivalent experience strongly desirable
8+ years overall experience, inclusive of Big Four experience in advisory or attestation services couples with relevant experience in public company or corporate environment
Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrates ability to build project plans and direct teams across the organization
Experience leading change management and finance transformation projects at public companies
Exceptional relationship building skills and ability to influence decision making at all levels in the IT, finance and accounting organization
Strong problem solver, capable of identifying root cause and identifying mitigation plans with practical solution approaches
Self-confidence, and good communication skills, including business writing and experience at developing senior management presentations
Strong management experience with proven track record of managing resources, developing departmental capability, and restructuring work streams to increase or improve productivity and career advancement
Team-oriented and an ability to direct and influence resources without direct reporting relationships
Experience with SQL, PowerQuery, and/or SalesForce, is a plus
