The Forensic and Litigation Consulting (FLC) practice/segment offers one of the industry’s most complete range of advisory services to clients across the world.  Our service offerings include anti-money laundering compliance and investigations; bribery and corruption investigations; forensic accounting; fraud and other financial crime investigations; governance, risk and regulatory advice; due diligence, regulatory investigations and litigation support and transactional data analytics – including artificial intelligence.

We offer these services to a diverse range of audiences; multi-national law firms, large corporates, national governments and agencies, and across the financial services space.

 

About The Role

The Senior Marketing Assistant will support the Forensic & Litigation Consulting (FLC) Team in the delivery of the marketing programme, which involves all aspects of the marketing mix. You will report to the Marketing Director  but will work closely with the BD teams and Executive Assistants within FLC, as well as the broader corporate marketing and internal communications team.  You will also occasionally work directly with our Senior Managing Directors (SMDs) to understand their needs and deliver activities accordingly.

 

You will work on a variety of tasks, events and projects including events support, CRM management, collateral development, communications, pitch/proposal materials and key account admin support, as well as more general administrative duties. In your role, you will also have ownership / responsibility for certain projects, and will be required to work independently to deliver them. You will have a busy, diverse, hands-on-role and will sit within the business team.

What You’ll Do

  • Marketing support – Facilitating marketing support requests around templates, design, email support and guidance on best-practice implementation. 
  • Events support – Assisting the FLC Marketing team, Business Development team and Business Team with delivering events programme, and also taking ownership of “Tier 1” and “Tier 2” events such as networking events, seminars, roundtable dinners and corporate hospitality events.  This may include venue sourcing, event planning, pre, post and on-site logistics, liaising with suppliers and event communications.
  • Sponsorship support – logistical preparation, including organisation of exhibition stands, collateral and branded merchandise.
  • Collateral development – including liaising with the Marketing team, business stakeholders, design and Risk functions to help produce and publish thought leadership and brochureware.
  • Communications support – taking full ownership of preparing communication mailings via our Eloqua mailing system, including design, preparing audience segments and working with Analytics team on reporting on engagement.
  • Digital support – providing support around web updates , and taking ownership of certain digital projects as requested.
  • Social media – creating social media, and maintenance of regular social media pipeline and content schedule. 
  • CRM support – helping maintain accuracy of data (including data entry), promoting user engagement, creation of marketing campaign segments and regular GDPR reporting.
  • Key Account support – admin support around updating key account trackers and target lists, where needed. 
  • Presentation and credentials support – helping to manage the team’s repository of tombstones and case studies, and ensuring presentations are regularly updated.
  • Marketing operations – taking ownership of maintaining marketing operations trackers for thought leadership, social media, events etc – and suggesting ways to improve this.
  • Admin support – Assisting with day-to-day admin including processing invoices, fielding email enquiries, research and proof-reading.
  • Ensuring quality – ensuring that all relevant marketing work product meets FTI Consulting house style for written communications and is in accordance with brand guidelines.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Qualifications:

  • 2:1 degree (or equivalent), ideally in business, marketing or communications or a related discipline.

 

 Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing Marketing Team support within a corporate environment, ideally professional services or  a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable experience in events management.
  • Experience in assisting with the creation and co-ordination of collateral both digital and paper based.
  • Experience with using Eloqua (Oracle email marketing) or similar packages.
  • Experience with using Salesforce (CRM Sales Cloud) or similar packages.

 

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Possess excellent marketing planning and delivery capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills verbal and written.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
  • Team player who is proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude, willing to go the extra mile when required.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written); ability to maintain utmost respectful professional internal and external relationships, even under pressure.
  • Be able to work independently and to develop ideas and projects without supervision, as well as being effective as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and planning skills; able to co-ordinate multiple projects and competing demands.
  • Very high attention to detail and high standard of accuracy, with proven experience of delivering consistent quality.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships and liaise effectively with all levels of management.
  • A desire to develop a career within B2B marketing in the future.  There may be potential to obtain sponsorship for a commercial marketing qualification in future.
