About the Role

 

Our Marketing team enhances and protects the FTI Consulting brand by promoting our people, success stories and community initiatives internally and externally. Based in Brisbane, as a Marketing Coordinator or Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will provide a national support to all five offices across Australia and represent an exciting opportunity to become a key contributor to our storytelling. 

 

We are looking for candidates with 2 – 4 years of experience, ideally in professional services (accounting, law, engineering, consulting, etc.), with a deep understanding of marketing principles, excellent organisational and analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The (Senior) Marketing Coordinator will play a critical role in the planning, execution and evaluation of national marketing initiatives for our Corporate Finance and Restructuring (CF&R) team. This role involves managing multiple projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders, executing physical and online events and ensuring that external content aligns with the firm’s branding and tone of voice. You will support the team by providing insights on campaigns from a digital and analytical perspective. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing principles, excellent organisational and analytical skills, be proactive and feel confident working independently and as part of a team.

 

What You’ll Do

 

In this role, you will work closely with our Corporate Finance team, supporting their marketing campaigns and business development initiatives, as well as assisting with planning, logistics and administrative tasks broadly covering: 

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Research support to inform business development and marketing activities. 
    • Coordinate and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print and events.
  • Content Development and Management:
    • Create, edit, and manage content and design layout for various marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, websites, social media and email campaigns.
    • Brand review for pitches, tenders, and collateral  
    • Maintain and manage the CF resources and credentials database, including the management of consultants’ bios and CVs.
    • Oversee and support brand guideline training within teams.
  • Event and Sponsorship Management:
    • Orchestrate marketing events, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
    • Coordinate with external vendors, merchandisers, agencies and freelancers.
    • Assist with promotion, post-event follow-up to maximise engagement and return on investment.
    • Support with lead generation and client follow-up resulting from campaigns and events.
    • Support the delivery of external sponsorship benefits.
  • Digital Marketing & Performance Reporting:
    • Support digital marketing initiatives, including social media (including paid) campaigns, website, and email marketing.
    • Support the management of the CRM platform (Salesforce).
    • Monitor and analyse performance metrics to optimise digital campaigns and report on effectiveness.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing activities and provide insights and recommendations, as well as client and referrer analysis and reporting.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Marketing/communications graduate role with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally within professional services. 
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage, build relationships and communicate with others.
  • Professional and positive manner with an ability to prioritise, multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint critical).
  • Experience with Adobe programs (Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat and Premiere Pro) encouraged but not essential.
  • Experience with event management systems (such as Cvent, Splash or Eventbrite) is encouraged but not essential.
  • This role may require occasional travel to FTI offices. We operate under a hybrid model - a minimum of 60% on site.
