About the role 

 

FTI Consulting is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Consultant (2- 4 years' experience) to join our growing National FTI Consulting Health and Human Services team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our practice, working with a diverse range of clients to deliver on the execution of the various engagements. 

 

Our team of experts work with government and private healthcare clients to deliver outcomes using a multidisciplinary set of capabilities. Our services include strategy and policy advice, operational transformation and productivity, profitability improvement, digital health including back and front office transformation and data & analytics.

What You'll Do 

  •  

  • Senior Consultant 

  • Serve as a critical team member to help deliver and manage client engagements, with responsibility for preparing presentations, reports and quantitative analysis for clients and third parties within established timeframes. 

  • Engage in business development activities as required including preparing proposals, pitches, thought leadership and case studies. Network and build external and internal relationships with clients and members across FTI Consulting. 

  • You will receive external, internal and on the job training to develop yourself professionally and personally.

Qualifications & Experience 

 

Ideally, you have up to 2-4 years of relevant experience. You may have worked in a consulting or professional services firm, in a think tank or university, or you may be looking for a change from the public sector. You may already have experience in health, social services, disability and mental health, or a strong desire to work in these sectors. 

 

We would expect you are able to bring to the position: 

 

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent Industry experience. 

  • Ability to travel within the country (where practical and possible). 

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with a strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. 

  • An ability to produce high-quality, concise and impactful presentations and reports. 

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required. 

  • Strong project management skills and flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements required due to challenging deadlines, changing deliverables and evolving task priorities. 

  • Experience with data analytics and visualisation software (i.e., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) favoured but not essential. 

  • Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and motivation to succeed.
