About the role
FTI Consulting is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Consultant (2- 4 years' experience) to join our growing National FTI Consulting Health and Human Services team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our practice, working with a diverse range of clients to deliver on the execution of the various engagements.
Our team of experts work with government and private healthcare clients to deliver outcomes using a multidisciplinary set of capabilities. Our services include strategy and policy advice, operational transformation and productivity, profitability improvement, digital health including back and front office transformation and data & analytics.

What You'll Do
Senior Consultant
Serve as a critical team member to help deliver and manage client engagements, with responsibility for preparing presentations, reports and quantitative analysis for clients and third parties within established timeframes.
Engage in business development activities as required including preparing proposals, pitches, thought leadership and case studies. Network and build external and internal relationships with clients and members across FTI Consulting.
You will receive external, internal and on the job training to develop yourself professionally and personally.
Qualifications & Experience
Ideally, you have up to 2-4 years of relevant experience. You may have worked in a consulting or professional services firm, in a think tank or university, or you may be looking for a change from the public sector. You may already have experience in health, social services, disability and mental health, or a strong desire to work in these sectors.
We would expect you are able to bring to the position:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent Industry experience.
Ability to travel within the country (where practical and possible).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
An ability to produce high-quality, concise and impactful presentations and reports.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Strong project management skills and flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements required due to challenging deadlines, changing deliverables and evolving task priorities.
Experience with data analytics and visualisation software (i.e., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) favoured but not essential.
Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and motivation to succeed.
