What You Will Need to Succeed
We are happy to consider passionate and capable software engineers irrespective of educational background.
Required Experience:
- We are looking for individuals who have a passion for problem-solving and a desire to learn new things.
- Applicants must be predicted to graduate in 2027, and available for this placement role from September 2025 – August 2026.
- While previous professional software development experience is not expected or required, familiarity with core technologies such as C# (or Java), SQL, and REST technologies is preferred. A strong understanding of XML or JSON data structures is also beneficial.
- For source control, CI, and CD, we use Azure DevOps but welcome experience with any similar tooling.
Additional Experience:
Experience with any of the following is not essential but would be beneficial:
- Managed and unmanaged services cloud services such as AWS or Azure
- SQL or NoSQL database experience
- Data visualization, including BI tools such as PowerBI, as well as DIY libraries such as d3.js
- Basic web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Advanced web development and web application development skills including node.js, JavaScript, MVC frameworks (e.g., Angular), and UI frameworks (e.g., MaterialUI)
- Experience related to Data science and NLP or LLM technologies
