About The Role

The Manager, Data & Analytics, will play a critical role in shaping how HR Data & Analytics uses data to drive decision-making, strategic planning, and operational excellence. This role blends strong analytical capabilities, technical skills, HR systems knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. The manager will deliver highquality dashboards, robust data models, governed datasets, and automated reporting solutions across HR, partnering closely with Data Engineers, HRIS teams, and business stakeholders to create scalable, reliable analytics products. The manager will design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reports. They will be responsible for transforming complex HR datasets into clear, actionable insights and developing forecasting, trending, and workforce performance dashboards.

This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role. The Manger, Data & Analytics will serve as the de facto project manager on all analytics initiatives they own—scoping requirements, managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional dependencies, and driving deliverables to completion. The role demands a deeply consultative and strategic orientation: you will partner directly with HR Centers of Excellence and senior leaders to translate business priorities into analytics solutions, and you will be directly responsible for reporting and analytics products that are presented to the Executive Committee (ExCo).

What You’ll Do

Project & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Own end-to-end project management of analytics initiatives—from intake and scoping through delivery and iteration—without dedicated PM support.

  • Serve as a strategic analytics partner to HR COEs and senior leaders, proactively identifying opportunities where data can inform strategy and improve outcomes.

  • Develop, maintain, and present executive-level reporting and dashboards for ExCo consumption, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and narrative clarity.

  • Manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Data Modelling & Engineering Alignment

  • Build robust data models using best practices.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineers on pipelines, requirements, and testing.

  • Validate data quality and optimize dataset performance.

Workday HR Data & Integrations

  • Analyze Workday HR data across HCM, Talent, Compensation, and Learning.

  • Work with HRIS teams to define and validate Workday RaaS outputs.

  • Understand data flows from Workday to SQL databases through APIs and SSIS pipelines.

Automation & Process Optimization

  • Use Power Automate to automate and maintain reporting workflows.

  • Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with scalable solutions.

Governance & Data Quality

  • Standardize KPI definitions and business logic.

  • Maintain data dictionaries and documentation.

  • Apply RLS and HR data privacy controls.

Stakeholder Partnership & Enablement

  • Translate HR business questions into analytical solutions.

  • Lead training for HR teams on dashboards and self-service analytics.

  • Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and ExCo.
